How to pin a website to your taskbar?

Using Microsoft Edge:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Navigate to the website you want to pin.
  3. Click the three dots (menu) in the top-right corner of the browser.
  4. Go to More Tools > Pin to taskbar.
  5. A shortcut for the website will now appear on your taskbar.

Using Google Chrome:

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Navigate to the website you want to pin.
  3. Click the three dots (menu) in the top-right corner.
  4. Go to More Tools > Create Shortcut.
  5. In the dialog box that appears:
    • Name the shortcut.
    • Check the box for Open as window (optional, makes it behave like an app).
  6. Click Create.
  7. Find the shortcut on your desktop, then drag it to the taskbar, or right-click the shortcut and select Pin to taskbar.

Using Other Browsers:

For browsers like Firefox, you can manually create a shortcut:

  1. Open the website in your browser.
  2. Resize the browser window so you can see your desktop.
  3. Drag the lock icon (next to the URL in the address bar) onto the desktop to create a shortcut.
  4. Right-click the shortcut and select Pin to taskbar.
